How can we help? 👋

Use the Team Performance dashboard

Track your team’s activities and task completion using the Team Performance dashboard.

Use Team Performance to review recorded work, spot overdue or unassigned tasks, and prepare a focused team check-in. Start with a question—such as “Where does work need an owner?”—rather than treating activity counts as a complete measure of someone’s performance.

Choose what contributes to the report

Check the reporting settings for the boards and inboxes you intend to compare. A missing source can make a quiet report look like a quiet team.

  • Ask your team to mark a task complete only after the work is done and to record a useful outcome. Completing a task updates its recorded status; it is not independent proof that an email was delivered or an external action succeeded.
  • Tasks and activities from boards or inboxes will only appear on the team performance dashboard if the Leaderboard option is toggled on.
    • Boards

Board Settings (⚙️) → Reporting → Include activities on Leaderboard. When enabled, this includes the board’s tasks and activities in the Team Performance dashboard.

Open Team Performance

  1. Open Dashboard from the main menu.
  1. Select Team Performance if it is available. If the tab is missing, ask an administrator to check the dashboard configuration and your access; do not assume the + control opens a Team Performance installer.
  1. Check the selected period and available filters before reading the totals.
  1. Review the same sources and period when comparing people or reviewing changes over time.
Team Performance has its own user/team, Date Range and Sources filters. Check each section’s filters before comparing totals.

Understand the sections

  • Leaderboard separates tasks and activities.
  • Task Summary offers Completed, Currently Overdue, Updated, Open Tasks and Unassigned views.
  • Activity Summary offers All, Emails, SMS, Calls and Comments.

Use the user or team search, Date Range and Sources controls for the section you are reviewing. A filtered section is not necessarily the whole organization.

Turn the report into useful follow-up

  • Overdue work: review the underlying task and decide whether it needs help, a new owner or a corrected due date.
  • Unassigned work: agree who owns the next step rather than letting the item remain in a shared queue.
  • Completed work: sample the task outcomes and supporting activity. Counts measure recorded activity, not quality or customer satisfaction.
  • Uneven workloads: consider role, workload and source coverage before comparing totals.

For a weekly check-in, choose one consistent period, identify the oldest unresolved items, and leave the meeting with an owner and next step for each exception.

If something is missing

  1. Confirm that you are in the intended organization and dashboard.
  1. Check the period and filters.
  1. Review the source board or inbox’s Leaderboard setting.
  1. Open a known example task or activity and check its owner and recorded status.
  1. Ask an administrator to review your access if you cannot see the expected team controls. Dashboard access can limit the people and work available to you.

If the discrepancy remains, send Support the dashboard link, selected dates and filters, source board or inbox, and one example task or activity. Do not create or complete extra tasks merely to change report totals.
