The Mine Inbox is your personal workspace in Aptly’s Inbox, a central place to view all conversations that are specifically related to you. You don’t need to have a personal inbox connected in order to use this view. The Mine Inbox gathers anything that’s assigned to you, shared with you, snoozed by you, or set as a reminder, essentially, anything that’s “mine.”
Default Folders in the Mine Inbox
Within the Mine Inbox, you’ll find several default folders that organize your conversations:
1. Assigned to Me
This folder displays every conversation that’s been assigned to you from any shared inbox across your company. It’s the easiest way to keep track of messages that you’re responsible for responding to.
2. Shared with Me
You’ll see any conversations that have been directly shared with you here. A conversation may appear in this folder if:
- Someone mentions you in a comment using @yourname, or
- A teammate uses the Share icon to send the conversation to you.
This makes collaboration easy — you can quickly review anything a teammate wants your input on.
3. Snoozed
Any conversation that you snooze will appear here until it’s reactivated.
Snoozing allows you to temporarily remove an email from your main inbox until a later time. Once a snoozed item reaches its scheduled time, it automatically moves back into your main inbox.
The Snoozed folder also displays a count of how many conversations you currently have snoozed.
4. Reminders
Reminders help you follow up on messages that need attention later.
When setting a reminder, you can choose:
- To be reminded regardless of reply, or
- Only if the recipient hasn’t replied by your selected time.
You can also add a custom note to your reminder, which will display in the browser notification and in the banner at the top of your inbox when it’s triggered.
Connecting a Personal Inbox (Optional)
If you connect a personal work inbox (for example, your individual Gmail or Microsoft account), it will also appear in your Mine view. This inbox is private to you and not shared with your team.
You can customize your personal inbox by:
- Adding specific folders from your email provider
- Selecting topics that you want to view
- Choosing contact types relevant to your messages
This gives you full control over how you organize and view your private email activity within Aptly.
