If a property isn’t showing in your listing widget, it’s usually due to the Publish for Rent setting in Aptly. This guide will walk you through how to check and update that setting so your listings appear as expected.
Why Your Property May Not Be Showing
Recently, the Publish for Rent flag was decoupled from most property management systems. This means that even if a property is active or marketed in your PMS, it will not automatically appear in Aptly’s listing widget.
To make a property visible, you’ll need to manage this setting directly in Aptly.
How to Manually Publish a Listing
To ensure your property appears in the listing widget:
- Go to Locations & Listings
- Locate and open the property listing
- In the listing details, find the Visibility & Calls to Action section
- Toggle Published ON
Once enabled, the property will be visible in your listing widget.
Additional Listing Settings
While updating your listing, you may also see these options:
- Syndication
Enable this if you are using Aptly to syndicate listings to external sites
- Accepting Applications
- Showings Enabled
These two settings are controlled by your Screening and Showings filters.
