Rent Manager integrates directly with Aptly! All you need to do is request activation and your data will shortly be showing in Aptly.
How to Integrate with Rent Manager

- In your Rent Manager account, click on Administration > Integrations.
- Click Available Integrations.
- Search for Aptly.
- Click Request Activation. The button will change to Cancel Request once selected.
- That’s it! Our team will work to get your integration set up while you begin to work on your first board.
Rent Manager Integration Settings
Once your account is linked to Rent Manager, you’ll find some settings that can be updated to reflect bi-directionality with Aptly and Rent Manager.
With great power comes great responsibility - turning on your 2-way sync is very powerful indeed. You’ll be able to make updates in Aptly only to have them update in Rent Manager in real time! It’s best to keep things in Read Only until you fully understand this syncing relationship.
What is 2-Way Sync?
2-Way Sync (or bi-directional sync) allows for your Property Management System (PMS) to talk to Aptly and vice versa. Think of it as a highway - information flows back and forth easily (unless you live in Southern California and then you have something called traffic jams). With Aptly, we call this setting Update/Create. If you wanted information to only pass from PMS to Aptly, it would be like a one way road - Read Only.
When you make a change to the settings, make sure that you click save (and tell your team!). Best practice is to utilize Aptly when making any changes or specify which changes should be made where.

Setting | Description |
Geocode Addresses | Addresses are matched against Google Maps records. If they are not matching, the address will be automatically updated to the Google Maps record. |
Buildings | Will sync owner information, marketing data and photos, and any field notated with a link icon. |
Units | Same as Buildings |
Leases | Will sync resident and lease information along with any field notated with a link icon. |
Work Orders (Service Manager Issues) | Will sync service manager issues, work order number, and status as well as any field notated with a link icon. |
Sync Renter Leads | Send your renter leads to Aptly! Select the Renter Leads Board and your 2-way sync options (read only or Update/Create) |
Sync Owner Leads | Send your owner leads to Aptly. Select the Owner Leads Board and your 2-way sync options (read only or Update/Create) |
