This guide will help you connect Aptly’s MCP to Claude so you can use Aptly directly inside your Claude conversations. The steps are the same whether you're on a Mac or PC.
Before you start, make sure you have a Claude account. If you don't have one yet, go to claude.ai and sign up — a free account works fine.
Step 1: Go to Claude Settings
- Open your web browser and go to claude.ai
- Sign in to your account
- Click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner
- Click Settings

Step 2: Open the Connectors Page
- In the left menu, click Connectors
- You'll see a list of apps that can connect to Claude (like Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.)

Step 3: Add Aptly as a Custom Connector
- Scroll to the bottom of the Connectors page
- Click the button that says "Add custom connector"
- When prompted, enter this URL exactly:
https://mcp.getaptly.com/mcp
- Click Save or Add

- Aptly will now appear in your connectors list with a "Connect" button next to it
Step 4: Authorize the Connection
- Click the Connect button next to Aptly

- You'll be redirected to the Aptly website to review permissions. Select all the options you want Claude to have visibility to.

- Click Allow
- You'll automatically be brought back to Claude
That's it! You're connected. 🎉
You can now start a new conversation in Claude and Aptly will be available for Claude to reference. If you ever have trouble connecting, reach out to us at help@getaptly.com.
