You have full control over who can access each board. Boards can be set as either private or public. Private boards allow you to add a single user or multiple users, depending on your preferences.

How to Make a Board Private
To set a board to private, you’ll go to the board.
- Click Members on the left.

- At the bottom of the pop up, click Make Private.

If the user who creates the private board is removed as a user, the board will remain private.
How to Add Members to a Private Board

- Click Members on the left.
- Type a user’s name in the text box.
- Select the user. They are added now!
How to Set Access for Users

- Click Members on the left.
- Select the dropdown menu to choose the level of access.
Access | Description |
Edit | Full access to the board. Users can edit board settings and automations, make changes to cards, and delete any cards. |
Comment | View all cards on the board. Can comment on any cards. Cannot update fields or make any changes to the board settings or automations. |
Restricted | Cannot see any cards on the board unless they are @mentioned on a card or a filter is selected. |
Remove | Remove the user from the board. |
How to Set a Board to Public

- Click Members on the left.
- At the bottom of the pop up, click Make Public.
The board is now public and can be accessible to everyone in your account.
