In some cases, a Zero Deposit offer may become outdated if time has passed between when the lease package was sent and when the applicant approves it. When this happens, the offer must be refreshed before you can move forward.
Follow the steps below to update an outdated Zero Deposit offer:
- Open the application
Navigate to the applicant’s application in Aptly.
- Go to the Approval Center

Within the application, open the Approval Center.
If the Zero Deposit offer is outdated, you’ll see the Zero Deposit line item displayed as a red link indicating the offer is no longer current.
- Open the outdated offer
Click the red Zero Deposit link. This will reopen the lease package associated with the application.
- Update the Zero Deposit offer

Review the lease package details to confirm everything is still accurate.
Then, scroll to the Zero Deposit section and click Update Zero Deposit. This refreshes the offer with the current terms.
- Complete the lease package

Once the Zero Deposit offer has been updated, click Next and continue completing the remaining lease details for the applicant(s).
After completing these steps, the Zero Deposit offer will be updated and the lease package can move forward as expected.
