In Aptly, you can add Knowledge pages directly to a board to keep important resources, documents, and SOPs easily accessible and connected to your workflows.
Follow the steps below to add a Knowledge page view to your board.
Step 1: Add a Knowledge View to the Board
- Navigate to the board where you want to add Knowledge pages.
- Click Add a New View.
- From the view options, select Knowledge.
- Name your view β choose a clear title that reflects the purpose of the content (e.g., Maintenance SOPs or Leasing Resources).
- Choose a privacy setting:
- Private View β Only you will be able to access this view.
- Protected View β Read-only for other users.
- You (the owner) can make changes, but anyone else will only be able to view the pages without editing them.
- Click Save to create the view.
Once saved, the new Knowledge view will appear alongside your other board views.
Step 2: Create a New Knowledge Page
- Open the newly added Knowledge view on your board.
- Click Add New Page.
- Begin building your page by adding:
- Title/Heading for the page.
- Optional icon or cover image to visually represent the page.
- Content such as text, links, and related resources.
You can format the page using the forward slash (/) to access headings, tables, and other formatting tools.

- Use Protected Views for shared SOPs or reference documents to ensure they stay accurate and arenβt accidentally edited by others.
- Organize your Knowledge pages into Pages and sub-pages for quick navigation as your content grows.
- Link cards, tasks, locations, or contacts to make your Knowledge pages interactive and connected to your workflows.
