Aptly syncs bi-directionally with the calendar associated with your email provider (Gmail or Outlook). You can add, edit, and delete calendar events in real-time directly in Aptly after you sync your calendar 🗓️.

Syncing Your Personal Calendar in Aptly
- Access your Personal Calendar settings by clicking the Settings ⚙️ gear in the bottom left corner, then select Personal Calendar.
- Select either Sync from Gmail or Sync from Office 365 and follow the authentication steps when prompted.
- Choose the calendar you want to sync and click Continue.
- Configure your newly-synced calendar by setting an identifiable name, choosing a specific color for your events, selecting your timezone, and customizing event reminders.

- Click Save!

🚨 Default Account Settings
Make sure you set your default calendar once you sync your calendar to Aptly.
- Access Default Account Settings by going to Settings > My Profile. Account Settings are located at the bottom of the page.
- Choose your personal calendar as the default calendar from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save Profile.

Personal Calendar Settings
It’s important to make adjustments to your Personal Calendar Settings. These settings apply to the Calendar as well as in other areas of the app.
Make sure that after any changes, you click save.

Accessing Your Synced Calendar
Click on the Calendar icon in the navigation bar on the left side of the browser window.

Add the calendar to your Calendars View.

- Click on the + icon and type in the name of the calendar.
- Once it appears in the dropdown, select it. It will be added to your Calendars View.
Note: When you add someone else's calendar to your Calendars View, you'll only see their blocked time slots—no specific event details are shared.
