Call Crusher allows you to call multiple contacts right from your board — without ever revealing your personal phone number. It’s a fast, efficient way to power through follow-ups with prospects, renters, or owners, all while keeping communication logged and organized inside Aptly.
What Is Call Crusher?
Call Crusher is a bulk calling feature that lets you quickly call a list of contacts from your board. It connects through your Twilio line, so all calls are made using your Aptly number — not your personal or direct line.
This means your contacts will always see your professional caller ID, while you stay protected and your calls stay logged in Aptly.
You can use Call Crusher on any board where cards include contacts with phone numbers — such as your Renter Leads or Owner Leads board.
Before You Start
Make sure:
✅ You have a Twilio line connected to Aptly.
✅ The cards you want to call each include at least one contact with a phone number.
If your team shares Twilio numbers, you’ll see them listed under the Caller ID dropdown when setting up your calls.
How to Use Call Crusher
- Go to your board
Open the board where you want to make calls — for example, your Renter Leads or Owner Leads board.
- Select your cards
Use the checkboxes to select the cards for the contacts you want to call.
- Choose Bulk Call
Once multiple cards are selected, a bulk options menu will appear at the top of the board.
Click Bulk Call.
- Set up your call list
- The total number of calls in your list
- A Caller ID dropdown
- An Agent Number field
- A Record toggle
A black Call Crusher banner will appear at the top of the expanded card view, showing:
- Select your Caller ID
Choose the Twilio line you want to use. This will be the number your contacts see when you call them.
- Enter your Agent Number
- Select Custom Number, and type in the number where you want Aptly (via Twilio) to reach you — usually your personal cell or office phone.
- Twilio will first call you at this number before connecting you to each contact in your list.
- Review or toggle call recording
You can choose to record the call by turning the Record toggle on or off.
(Recordings are stored in the card’s Activity Log for future reference.)
- Start calling!
- Twilio will first call your agent number.
- Once you answer, Twilio will connect you with the contact on the selected card.
- Your contact will only ever see the Twilio number listed as the caller.
Hit Call to start.
- Move to the next contact
After you finish a call, click Next to move on to the next card in your list and repeat the process.
How Call Crusher Works Behind the Scenes
When you use Call Crusher:
- Twilio acts as a middleman to protect your personal phone number.
- It calls you first, then connects the call to your contact using your Aptly (Twilio) number as the caller ID.
- Every call is logged on the card’s Activity Log, and recordings are saved automatically (if enabled).
Your contact never sees your agent number — only the official line associated with your Aptly account.
