How can we help? 👋

Get started with Hiro

Open Hiro, navigate the panel, and start a focused conversation.

Hiro is your personal executive assistant in Aptly. Ask a focused question, get help finding work, or prepare a task, email, or Knowledge draft for review. Start with one request and check the details before you act on the answer.

Before you begin

  • Sign in to the Aptly organization where you want to work.
  • Make sure you can open Hiro. If you cannot see him, ask your Aptly administrator or dedicated Aptly team to check your access.
  • Have a specific question or a small piece of work in mind. Include names, dates, and the board or document involved when relevant.

Open Hiro and make your first request

  1. Select the Hiro launcher in Aptly. Its position can vary with your Identity settings. In the screenshot, Hiro appears in the app header.
  1. Open Chats in the Hiro panel.
  1. Ask a focused question, such as “Which tasks assigned to me are overdue?”
  1. Read the answer and open any relevant source or card link that Hiro provides.
  1. Check dates, assignments, and other details in the underlying record before taking action.

For a request that prepares new work, include what you want to review. For example: “Prepare a task form titled Review tomorrow’s appointments, assigned to me, due tomorrow. Show me the form before I create it.”

Find your way around the panel

  • Chats: Ask questions and continue the current conversation.
  • Skills: See the skill catalog and whether a skill is enabled for your organization.
  • Scheduled: Start describing a task and when you want it to run.
  • Identity: Open Hiro’s profile, Soul, or Memory settings.
  • Settings: Review the usage information and available guidance for your account.

The Hiro panel brings chat, skills, scheduling, and personalization into one place.

What to expect

Hiro can return an answer or a draft to review. A task form, email composer, or Knowledge review card is a preparation step. Review the fields and use the relevant control yourself when you are ready to create, save, or send.

Important limits

  • Check important answers against their source. A confident answer can still contain missing information or incorrect totals.
  • If Attach a file is disabled and marked as not available yet, file attachment is not available in your account.
  • Do not treat a draft or a chat message saying “done” as proof that a record was saved or a message was sent. Check the destination.
  • Hiro’s appearance and voice settings belong to the in-app assistant. Aptly’s channel-based AI Agents, AI Dashboard, and App Hosting are separate features.
