How can we help? 👋

Review Hiro proposals before taking action

Review task, email, Knowledge, board, and automation proposals before completing them.

Hiro can help prepare work for you to review. Check the actual form, draft, or proposed configuration change, including its destination, before creating a task, sending an email, saving Knowledge content, or changing a board.

Before you begin

  • Identify the exact task, recipient, or document you want to prepare.
  • Have the title, date, text, and other required details ready.
  • Keep any request to prepare a draft separate from your decision to save or send it.

Prepare a task form

  1. Ask Hiro to prepare a task with a title, assignee, and due date.
  1. Open the task-form shortcut in Hiro’s response. The wording may reflect your request.
  1. In New Task, check the title, assignee, due date, and priority.
  1. Correct the fields in the form if needed.
  1. Choose Create when you are ready, or Cancel to leave without creating the task.
  1. If you create the task, open it in Aptly and confirm the saved fields.

Review the task’s fields before choosing Create.

Check the form itself: Confirm which fields are actually available and filled in, even if Hiro’s answer says a detail was included.

Prepare a new email

  1. Give Hiro the intended recipient, subject, and message, and ask for a draft to review.
  1. Read the Email draft card.
  1. Open its composer shortcut.
  1. In New message, check From, the recipient, the subject, and the full body. Do not assume the selected sender is your personal inbox.
  1. Edit the message as needed.
  1. Choose Send yourself when ready, or use Discard and confirm the discard if you do not want the draft.
  1. If you send the message, verify its status in the inbox before retrying anything.

Review a new Knowledge draft

  1. Ask Hiro to prepare a new Knowledge document and provide the text or outline.
  1. Review the Document title, Knowledge base location, and Private or Organization sharing choice.
  1. Read the whole draft.
  1. Select Edit before saving to open the editable preview. Reset to Hiro’s draft is available in that state.
  1. Choose Save document only when the content and sharing are right, or Cancel to abandon it.
  1. If you save, open the destination document and confirm the content and access.

See Understand Hiro Memory and Knowledge for the Knowledge walkthrough and the distinction between a document and remembered context.

Review board and automation proposals

For a board creation or configuration change, read the proposed changes before selecting Apply. Confirm the target board, compare current and proposed values where shown, and check each automation’s trigger, conditions, and actions. Ask Hiro to revise the proposal before applying it if anything is unclear.

After applying, open the board and inspect the saved configuration. A proposed rule is not proof that an automation has run successfully. See Create and update boards with Hiro for the full review checklist and examples.

What to expect

The workflows in this article use a prefilled task form, a prefilled new-message composer, and a new Knowledge review card with an editable preview. Completion must be checked in the destination after you choose the final action.

Important limits

  • Preparing a new message does not establish the behavior of replies to existing conversations.
  • Opening an email composer may create draft state. Do not assume a message is unsaved merely because it has not been sent.
  • Existing-document changes and bulk card edits require their own review. They are not covered by these steps.
