Connect a shared Gmail or Office 365 calendar to manage team events in Aptly. Choose the teammates who need access rather than assuming the calendar is available to everyone.
What Is a Shared Calendar?
A shared calendar lets teammates with access view, create, edit, and delete its events. No separate event-management permission is required.
Create the calendar in Gmail or Office 365 first, then connect it to Aptly. You can connect a shared calendar independently; you do not need a connected shared inbox.
How to Set Up a Shared Calendar
Once added, the Shared Calendar lets you select which teammates can contribute to it.
Follow the steps below to get your team set up with a Shared Calendar.
In Settings, open Company Settings โ Shared Calendars.

- Click your Avatar > Settings.
- Click on Shared Calendars under Company Settings.
- Click on the applicable Email/Calendar Provider (Gmail or Office 365) to sync. An authentication window will pop up asking permission for Aptly to access and edit the Calendar. After accepting, the Shared Calendar will appear in the list.

- Select the team members who need access to the Shared Calendar.

- Click Save after any changes are made to the Shared Calendar settings.
