What to Expect in Aptly when Making Changes in Propertyware
This deck walks through a workflow map showcasing the Aptly/Propertware Integration. It’s best viewed in full screen. Click on the More Options button (3 horizontal dots) in the bottom right corner. Select the two opposing errors.
Key Tips
- Locational Objects (I.e., Buildings, Leases, Portfolios, Units, and Contacts): Changes made in Propertyware will appear in Aptly after the overnight sync.
- Work Orders: Changes made in Propertyware will appear in Aptly approximately every two hours.
- URL Report: Changes made in Propertyware prior to the selected reporting time (I.e., Daily, Twice Daily, Hourly) will appear in Aptly after the report is run.
- Any information updated in Aptly will be synced back to Propertyware in real-time, provided that the data field came from your property management software. With this being the case, it is imperative to decide where you want your team to make changes - Aptly or Propertyware.
- Aptly will always add data to Propertyware, but not remove it.
- Ex: if you remove an email or phone number from a contact in Propertyware, it will NOT be removed in Aptly automatically. Aptly is considered the master record for the contact, so you would need to make the same modification in Aptly as well.
