Stage group conversion widgets are customized based on the type of data you want to monitor in your reports dashboard.
How to Set Up Stage Groups
In order to create a stage group conversion widget, you’ll first need to set up stage groups. Stage groups are groupings of similar stages. For example, in a Tour stage grouping, you can group together Tour Requested, Scheduled Tour, Tour No Show, and Tour Complete. The Stage Group Conversion would take into account all four stages within the group.
How to Create a Stage Group

- There are 2 ways to access stage settings.
- Click on Card Settings > Manage Stages.
- Click on the three vertical dots within a stage > Manage Stages.
- Click + Grouping.
- Name the group. Add a color.
- Move stages to group.
- Click Save.
How to Set Up a Stage Group Conversion

When you set up the Stage Group Conversion widget, you’ll need to know what information you want to glean from the calculation. You’ll also need to select a filter type - By Activity Date or By Created Date (you’ll more often than not select activity date as it takes into account ALL cards on the board within the report range as opposed to only cards created within that time frame).

To calculate a conversion rate between two stages, divide the number of leads that reached the later stage by the number that started in the earlier stage, then multiply by 100. Think “Later ÷ Earlier” when comparing stage-to-stage conversion. For example, if 150 out of 500 leads moved from Nurturing to Tours, your conversion rate is 150 ÷ 500 × 100 = 30%.
Other Stage Group Conversion Options
Not only can you calculate conversion rates between stages, you can calculate conversion of counts of cards across the whole board.

Card Count Types | Description |
Cards Created | Only takes into account cards created within the time period regardless of activity type |
Active Cards | Only cards that are active within the time frame regardless of created date |
All Cards, All Time | Includes archived and opened cards |
All Open Cards | Includes any card that is open regardless of time frame |
