Recurring tasks are a great way to stay on top of routine work that isn’t tied to an existing workflow. Instead of recreating the same task over and over, you can automate it directly from your dashboard.
Access Recurring Tasks

- Navigate to your Dashboard
- Select To Do
- In the top-right corner, click the Recurring Tasks icon(hovering over it will display “Recurring Tasks”)
This will open your Recurring Tasks view, where you can manage all existing recurring tasks.
Create a New Recurring Task

- Click Add Recurring Task
- Fill out the task details:
- Title – Name of the task
- Description – Additional context or instructions
- Task Type – Same options as standard tasks
- Assignee – Who the task will be assigned to
- Priority – Set urgency level
- Related Cards (optional) – Link any relevant cards
Set Your Schedule

In the scheduling section, define when and how often the task should repeat:
- Frequency – Choose:
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
- Time – Select when the task should be created
- Day(s) of the Week (for weekly schedules)
- You can select one or multiple days
- Repeat Interval
- Example: every week, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, etc.
- Start Date
- Determines when the schedule begins
- Note: If the selected day doesn’t match the current day, the first task will be created on the next valid occurrence
- End Conditions (Repeat Until)
- Never (runs indefinitely)
- After a set number of occurrences
- On a specific end date
Set the Due Date

Define when each task should be completed:
- Same Day as the task is created
- Custom Timing (e.g., due 4 days after the task is created)
Save Your Recurring Task
Click Create to finalize your recurring task.
Manage Recurring Tasks

Once created, your task will appear in the Recurring Tasks view as a rule. From here, you can:
- Edit the task
- See how many times it has run
- Pause or Delete it
- View Last Fired time
If the task hasn’t fired yet, you’ll see the Next Fire Time based on your schedule.
What Happens When a Task Fires?
When a recurring task runs:
- It appears on your dashboard under My Tasks
- It is created as a manual, one-off task
- It is not tied to a workflow
