When you want to set up the fields on a card, manage the stages for a board, and configure the card, you’ll do so in Card Settings.

How to Navigate Card Settings
To review, add, edit, or delete card fields, we'll want to go to the Card Settings section of the board. Card Settings is also where you'll find Connected Boards, Manage Stages, and Card Configuration. To access these, click on the Card Settings link on the left-hand side of the screen.

Card Settings are an important aspect of board/card maintenance. This is your go-to spot for adjusting what appears on a Start card, required fields, etc.
Standard Card Fields
When creating a General Use Board, there are standard fields that will be available right out of the gate. This table explains each field that comes standard with a General Use Board. You’ll note a Standard Card field by the double check marks next to the field.
Field | Description |
Title | When a card is created, a name for the card is required. This is created by an automation, integration, or email parser. When manually creating a card, it is the first Card Field that you can enter. You can also search for cards by Card Title. |
Stage | Where will the card appear on the board? The stage is a part of the process. Editing the Stage field will take you to the Manage Stages tab. |
Assignee | Who will be responsible for the card? The assignee's avatar will appear on the Card face. |
Tags | Create new tags or add existing tags to the card. Tags allow you to group different cards together by a related word (tag). |
Description | You can add a short summary of the card. For example, a description for a support ticket could include the issue or question. |
Last Activity* | This shows the last related communication that was received or sent if you choose to pin it to the card, otherwise the last activity is located on the Related Tab under Activities. |
Last Comment* | This will show the most recent internal comment made on the card if you choose to pin to the card. You can view all comments in the center tab - Comments. |
Files | If there are files that need to be attached to the cards, you can choose to include a Files field. |
Tasks | This creates a task field where you can manually add tasks in any order. You can assign tasks and add a due date. Once a task is checked off, the task will be crossed off. |
Due Date | This due date applies to the entire card. To mark it as complete, it needs to be moved to a completed stage. This stage setting is toggled on in the Manage Stages tab of the Card Settings window. |
Emails Opened* | When pinned to the card, it will show how many opened emails there are related to this card. |
Email Last Opened* | When pinned to the card, it will show the last opened email related to the card. |
