Managing and Customizing Board Views
Default Board Views
Every board includes these standard view types:
- Kanban: Columns show card progress through stages.
- Table: A spreadsheet-style overview of all cards.
- Diagnostics: A performance-focused view (see “Using the Diagnostics View” article).
- Embedded Miro Board (template boards only): A workflow map outlining the board’s automations.
Adding New Views
- Click the plus (+) icon next to your view tabs.
- Select a view type from the list.
- Customize it with filters, visible fields, and a name.
- Choose if it should be Private (visible only to you) or Protected (visible to everyone, but not editable).
You can create multiple views of any type — for example, one Kanban view filtered by “Assigned To,” and another showing only “High Priority” cards.
