How to Identify Duplicate Cards

You can see if there are duplicate cards on a board simply by viewing the titles of the cards. If they are the same title, chances are they are duplicate cards. You can easily see duplicate cards on a board by switching to List View.

Once in List View, select Group By: None. Then, sort by Title.

How to Merge Duplicate Cards

Once duplicate cards have been located, select both and then click on the Merge Cards icon.

A Merge Cards window will popup asking you to define which data you want to appear on the card. You can maintain important information like when the initial card was created, the assignee who should be responsible, as well as any other fields listed on the card.

Merging cards cannot be undone.

Once confirmed, click Merge Cards. The cards will be linked together under related. If there was any data that you wanted to review from one of the merged cards, you can find it there.
