How to Create Board Filters

Set up customized views on a board using board filters.

Board Filters are an important tool to use in a workflow. You can use them to start processes, keep track of your own tasks, and any other ways that you might need.

How to Use a Board Filter

Aptly Boards come installed with ready-to-use filters. Filter cards to view by all cards assigned to you (Mine), another assignee, recently updated, etc. These filters also include a view of your archived cards along with any in the recycle bin (deleted cards that stay in the recycle bin for 30 days).

To change your view to a specific filter, click on the View button above the stages. You can select any view that is in the list and the cards will filter to the view.

💡
Pin a frequently used filter to the top by clicking on the pushpin 📌. To remove it from the pinned section, click on the pushpin again to remove it.

How to Create a Board Filter View

In Aptly, you can customize your view of the board based on different field criteria. Filtered views can also be used as a way to copy cards over to another board.

From the Board view, click on the View button above the stages.
