Using the Board Calendar View

Visualize your board’s cards by date.

The Calendar View allows you to visualize your board’s cards by date, making it easier to track upcoming events, tasks, or key milestones — such as move-ins, renewals, or follow-ups.


Adding a Calendar View

To create a new calendar view on your board:

  1. Click the plus icon (+) next to your existing views.
  1. Select Calendar from the list of available view types.
  1. Give your calendar a name (for example, Upcoming Move-ins).

Once added, the new calendar view will appear alongside your other board views.


Applying Filters

You can apply filters to your calendar view to control which cards appear:

  • To highlight specific cards, such as move-ins occurring within the next three days, create and apply a filter before saving.
  • Filters are saved with the view, so every time you access this calendar, your selected filter will automatically be applied.
  • If no filter is added, the calendar will display all cards on the board.

Choosing a Date Field

Within the calendar view, you can select which date field from your cards determines where each card appears on the calendar (e.g., Scheduled Move-in Date, Lease Expiration Date, etc.).

To change the displayed date field:

  • Open the date field dropdown at the top of the calendar.
  • Choose the desired field to update which cards are shown on the timeline.

View Privacy and Permissions

When creating your view, you’ll have a few visibility options:

  • Private View – Only you can see and access this calendar.
  • Protected View – Anyone on the team can view it, but only admins can make changes.

You can also toggle on Enable Click-in Navigation on Calendar Time Slots, which allows you to click directly into an empty calendar slot to view or add card details.


Navigating the Calendar

Once your view is created, you can use the controls at the top to navigate and adjust what you see:

  • Today’s Date – Quickly jump back to today’s position on the calendar.
  • Navigation Arrows – Move forward or backward through your selected timeframe.
  • View Options – Switch between:
    • Day View – Shows a single day’s schedule.
    • Work Week View – Displays only your designated work days.
    • Full Week View – Includes all seven days.
    • Month View – Displays the entire month at a glance.

You can also toggle between showing Full Day Hours or Work Hours Only in the week views.

Work hours and work week are based on what is set in Company Info & Team. You can override business hours on the board level under Advanced Settings.


Searching and Filtering Within the Calendar

You can use the search bar at the top of the calendar to quickly find a specific card.

The results will adjust automatically to show only the cards that match your search within the currently selected calendar view and date field.


Tip

Click the cards icon in the top-right corner of the calendar view to display all cards with the selected date field in a list format. This provides a quick way to review key items without scrolling through the calendar itself.
