Getting Your Locks
Congratulations on receiving your Aptly-compatible locks. Locks that work with Aptly must be TTLock-compatible and Bluetooth-enabled.
Pairing a Lock with Aptly Access
If you’re setting up your own lock, here’s how to pair it with Aptly Access:
Your lock will come with instructions to pair with TT Lock, but you’ll skip that and follow the steps below.
- Download and install the Aptly Access app from the Apple App Store. You can find a link to the app after adding yourself as an Access Member under the Locks tab in Aptly: https://app.getaptly.com/location/locks/manageAccess

- Make sure the smart lock has batteries installed and is awake—the buttons on the front should be lit.
- Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone.
- In the Aptly Access App, navigate to Nearby from the bottom menu.

- The app should automatically start scanning for nearby devices. If not, tap Scan in the top-right corner. Your lock should appear on the screen.

- Tap the lock to pair it with the Aptly Acces app. Once paired, you’ll hear and/or see a confirmation on your screen.
- You can choose to associate the lock with a unit at the time of pairing, or do so later.
After pairing, locks will also be installed in Aptly under the Locks section for you to manage.
What Happens If I Can’t Pair the Lock?
Reach out to your dedicated account team with details of the issue you are experiencing and if you are receiving any error messages. Provide us with the Lock details as well.
