Aptly allows you to import your existing contacts from your Property Management Software as well as store your prospective leads in Aptly. Since Aptly also functions as a CRM, it’s a great way to manage and update your new and existing contacts while also taking action to move those leads to customers.

How to Access and Navigate the Contact Directory
The Contact Directory is where you will find a list of all of your contacts. You can search for a specific contact, and filter by contact type and/or location. You can also create segments that are saved in filter settings so that you can access specific contacts in seconds. Detail about creating segments are in the interactive image.

How to Access Contact Details in Other Areas of Aptly
From the Inbox:
Other ways to access contact details are from an inbox. You can add new contacts or add details to an existing one, all from your inbox.
- Click on the conversation and open up the Conversation Details pane by clicking on the 3 horizontal lines (hamburger).
- In the Details tab, you can view the participants of the conversation. To add a new contact, click on the icon of the outlined person with a +. A window will pop up allowing you to create a new contact or merge with an existing contact.
From a board:
Another way to access contact details is from a card they are attached to on a board. Simply open the card and click on the contact's name in blue. The selected card will be replaced with their Contact Card. To go back to the card click on the back arrow in the top left corner of the pane.
