Rentvine customers can add recurring charges to new leases in Rentvine after approving an applicant. No more circling back after an applicant is approved. You can now add rent, pet fees, utilities, and other recurring charges right when you build the lease. This keeps your team moving, ensures nothing gets missed, and gives residents a clear picture of what to expect from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions
I created a lease offer and a lease, but there is no lease linked to Rentvine.
When creating a draft lease, you’ll need to make sure that the following fields are complete on the card:
- Lease Name
- Resident Contact (min. 1)
- Lease Start Date
- Lease End Date
- Lease Move-In Date
- Rent
- Linked to Portfolio, Building, Unit
You can further troubleshoot the sync by going to Card Sources > Rentvine > Sync Logs.

If there are any errors, you’ll see them listed in red under the location you are trying to sync. As you can see in the image below, when attempting to sync the lease, it failed because the Rentvine Integration settings were still set to Read Only.

Nothing is being pushing into Rentvine. How can I ensure the data writes back?
By default, your integration settings will alway start in Read Only mode. Assuming you want data written back, you will need to update your Rentvine Integration setting in Aptly for to Create/Update. You can do this at the Portfolio, Building, Unit, Lease and WorkOrder level. For this particular update, Leases will need to be set to Update/Create. After modifying, any new leases created in Aptly should be pushed into Rentvine in realtime.

My charges didn’t write back, what might the issue be?
The charge in Aptly must match the charge name in Rentvine verbatim. Any typos will result in the charge not writing back to the system.
