When Daylight Savings occurs in most states in the US, it causes calendars to act a little wonky. Oftentimes it’s related to the calendar provider with recurring events.
In this article, you will learn:
- How to identify if there is a sync issue.
- Fix the issue with recurring events.
How Do You Know if You Have a Sync Issue with Your Calendar after a Time Change?
To determine if you have a sync issue with your calendar, access your calendar in Aptly. Check out your events to make sure they appear at the correct time. If they do not, open up your Calendar Provider (usually your Calendar within your Email Provider). Check the Calendar Provider events to see if they are also showing up at the incorrect time for recurring events. If they are, move on to the next part of this article.
How to Fix the Events
In order to fix the event in your Calendar Provider and Aptly, you’ll need to decline the event. Then, ask the event coordinator to send you a new invite from the Calendar Provider.
This should resolve the event issue due to Daylight Savings time changes.
