In Aptly, you can personalize your Kanban view to display the most relevant information at a glance. This includes choosing which fields appear on your cards, adjusting card sizes, and deciding how field names display.
Pin Fields to the Kanban View
You can choose which fields display directly on the cards in your Kanban view.

To do this:
- From your board, look at the top middle section of the page and click Fields.
- Toggle on or off any fields you want to display on your cards.
- Drag and drop fields to rearrange their order.
- Click Save when you’re done.
Any field that contains data will now appear in your Kanban view.
✅ Tip: Keep only the most important details visible — such as name, status, or due date — to make your Kanban board easier to scan.
Adjust Card Size in a Stage
You can also control the card density or size for each stage of your Kanban board.

To update card size:
- Click the three dots above any stage.
- Select Column Style.
- Choose your preferred card density, or set a custom card length.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Your board will automatically refresh with the new settings.
Show or Hide Field Names
You can choose whether to display field names under each icon on your cards — or keep the view minimal with icons only.

To update this setting:
- Open Board Settings.
- Select Advanced Settings → Card Options.
- Find the Preview Field Names toggle.
- Turn on to show field names.
- Turn off to hide field names (you can hover over an icon to see the field name).
