Task templates are a great way to keep repeated tasks organized in a workflow. You can organize them based on type of task, timing, or however else makes sense for your process!

How to Create a Task Template
Similar to forms, task templates can only be applied to one board.
- From a board, click Task Templates.
- Click Add New Task List.
- Type in a Task List Title.
- Select options.
- Include Assignee - if you will not be assigning the tasks in the automation
- Sequential - Tasks will only appear when the first task is completed.
- Add tasks.
- Click save.
How to Edit a Task Template
Editing a task template is easy. Click on the task template or click the 3 dots on the task template title and click Edit.
How to Add Task Templates to a Card
There are a few ways to add a task template to a card:
- Manually
- By automation
Adding a Task Template Manually
- Click on a card to open it.
- Locate the Task list and click on the 3 vertical dots to access the Task menu.
- Select Load Template.
- Select a template and click Load.
The task template is added to the card. It will only be added to the selected card. If you want a task template to load on every card at a specific point in a process, you can use an automation to do this for you!
