While Aptly Forms are the recommended option, we understand you may prefer to use JotForm in some cases. Follow the steps below to connect JotForm with Aptly.
Step 1: Manage Fields in Aptly
- All field management must be done directly in Aptly.
- Any fields you add in the JotForm interface will not sync back to Aptly.
Note: Aptly only supports one JotForm per board. If you need multiple forms on a board, you’ll need to use Aptly Forms instead.
Step 2: Connect Your JotForm Account
- Obtain your JotForm API key from your JotForm account.
- Enter the API key into Aptly.
- Once connected, Aptly will create a new placeholder form in JotForm for integration.
Important: You cannot connect pre-existing JotForms to Aptly. Only the form created at the time of API setup will work.
Step 3: Toggle On Fields
- Within Aptly, you can toggle fields on or off in the JotForm settings page for your card source.
