Supported Lock Types for Aptly Access

Aptly Access supports two types of smart locks—both designed to make managing property access simple and secure. These locks are ordered directly through our Sales team, pre-configured for Aptly Access, and shipped ready to use.

Smart Door Lock

The Smart Door Lock is a keypad-enabled deadbolt designed for secure, convenient entry.

Features:

  • Includes both a keypad and physical key option for flexible access.
  • Configured for Aptly Access before it ships—no complex setup required.
  • Connects via Bluetooth for easy unlocking through the Aptly Property Manager or Prospect apps.
  • Requires 4 AA batteries (not included).
  • Functions as a single-latch deadbolt.

Once installed, simply sync your Smart Door Lock with Aptly Access to begin assigning and managing entry codes.


Key Box Lock

The Key Box Lock is a portable keypad lockbox that securely stores physical keys, ideal for vendor access, self-showings, or maintenance entry.

Features:

  • Includes a keypad for code-based entry.
  • Pre-configured for Aptly Access—just sync and start using it.
  • Connects via Bluetooth for mobile unlocking.
  • Requires 4 AA batteries (not included).
  • Comes with a protective rain cover for outdoor durability.
  • Not compatible with the Aptly Resident app—only with the Property Manager and Prospect (NoKey) apps.

The Key Box Lock makes it easy to provide temporary or recurring access without needing to meet in person or give out physical keys.


Getting Started

Both lock types are ready to sync with Aptly Access upon arrival. Once connected, you can:

  • Generate and manage access codes
  • Assign locks to properties or units
  • Monitor access activity in real time
