Access all Tours in your Aptly Tours Calendar. It acts as its own calendar viewable on Aptly Calendar.
How to Set Up the Tours Calendar
Not only can you have a default tours calendar, but you can have a specific calendar for each unit
Calendar Types
There are two types of calendars:
- Default Calendar - applies to all units
- Unit Specific Calendar - applies to one single unit (each unit can have their own calendar)
You can use both calendars! The Default Calendar will apply to all units without a specific calendar.
Tour Types
Tour types can be set at the global level as well as overridden at the Unit level. Update in Listings Settings.

Self Tour
- The prospect will tour the property on their own.
Agent Tour
- An agent will tour the property with the prospect.
Resident Tour
- The current resident of the property will be present when the prospect tours.
Add a Default Tours Calendar
On the Locks board, you’ll access your default tours calendar settings.
- Click Manage Calendar.
- Select the Time Zone that the calendar will be set to.
- Toggle on the days that you will accept showings and enter in the time frame.
- You can set a max number of tours scheduled in a time slot. Enter the length of the time slot in minutes. Ex: If you want the time slot to be 60 minutes with 2 tours scheduled in that time period.

You can also manage it from the Renter Leads board.

Add a Unit-Specific Tours Calendar
You can override the default tours calendar and provide specific hours for a unit. This is helpful when the unit has a tenant in the property (if not a self-tour). You can also adjust it to match the schedule of the agent or to reduce traffic to a particular unit.

- From the Listings, open a unit.
- Scroll down to the Tours section and select override Tours Calendar.
- Add the hours for the Unit. Changes are saved automatically.
Viewing the Tour Calendars
You can view any tour calendars from the main Calendar in Aptly.

Click the plus icon to add any calendars. The Global Calendar will be titled “Tour Calendar” and any unit specific calendars will include the unit in the calendar name.
