Zapier Functionality

Zapier allows you to create automated workflows, called zaps, that connect Aptly with other apps. A zap consists of a trigger and an action. When the trigger event occurs in Aptly, Zapier automatically performs the action in the connected app or vice versa. For example, you can create a zap that adds a new card to Aptly for new Instagram leads.

Zapier offers a wide range of integrations with popular apps like Google Sheets, Slack, Trello, and more. You can also use Zapier to create custom integrations with any app that has an API. The only limitation here is that you can only create Zaps with events that the app currently offers. For example, with RentCheck, you can only trigger a Zap in Aptly based on the events listed in the image below.

  1. Click on Card Sources in the Board Settings Menu on the left.
  1. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Zapier.
  1. Click on the toggle so it appears in the green, on position. A unique Zapier User Authentication Token will appear in the box.
💡
Each user will have their own Zapier User Authentication Token. This user will need to be the same user who logs into Aptly via the Zapier Zap setup. User permissions in Aptly will apply to Zapier.
