How can we help? 👋

Craigslist Leads

If you use Craigslist, Aptly’s Craigslist Qualification Form can help you gather more information from leads.

Craigslist is a great tool for obtaining leads. The downside is - they don’t always capture the lead information that you want. With Aptly’s Lead Qualification Form and an Inbox Rule, you can gather more information from the rental inquiry. It’s included with the Renter Leads Template Board.

In this article, you will learn how to:

  1. Locate and point the Craigslist Qualification Form to the applicable board
  1. Set up the Inbox Rule

How to Locate and Point the Craigslist Template and Qualification Form

All Template Gallery Boards come with Communication Templates and Forms. They are located in the Template Library and need to be pointed to the applicable board. You can find all Communication Templates and Forms in the Library. The Craigslist Email Template and Craigslist Qualification Form come installed with the Renter Leads Board.

How to Set Up the Inbox Rule

Now that the Craigslist Template and Form are both pointing to the Renter Leads Board, you can set up the Inbox Rule in the Inbox. The Inbox Rule will send out an email whenever a Craigslist email is received. Once a form is complete, a new card will populate on the Renter Leads Board with identifying information.

  1. In the Inbox, click on Inbox Configuration and select Inbox Rules.
  1. Click + Add a New Rule.
    1. Use this interactive image to set up the rule.

  1. When complete, click Save.

If your Renter Leads board is already live, toggle OFF Stop Processing and ensure it is toggled on in the Inbox Rules window.
