Aptly’s Inbox is a multi-faceted interface complete with multiple pane views and actions to support your team’s organization of conversations through email, SMS, and phone calls.

Inboxes Menu
The Inbox Menu helps you prioritize inboxes and folders so you can work faster and tackle the most important conversations first. Quickly view all inboxes and any conversations assigned to or shared with you from your Inbox Menu in Aptly.
The MINE View
The MINE View includes:
- Conversations from your personal inbox and phone inbox
- Conversations assigned to you
- Conversations shared with you (including conversations with an @mention)
Customizing the MINE View
You can easily show important folders and topics in your MINE view by customizing your inbox:
- Expand your personal email to show all default folders by clicking on the arrow next to your Inbox.
- Click on More to show optional folders.
- Toggle on/off the Folders that you would like to see in your panel.
- From the Folders menu, you can click on Topics and/or Contact Type to add additional folders to your Personal Inbox. Additionally, you can add new topics.
- Any added Folders, Topics, and Contact Types will be located at the bottom of your expanded Personal Inbox.
Additionally, you can pin folders to the top of your MINE view.
Simply click on the three horizontal dots to the right of the folder and select Add to Favorites. A Favorites folder will appear at the top of the Inboxes Menu.
Conversation Previews
Conversation Previews is where you’ll find all of the emails for the selected inbox. Here you can filter emails by open, archived, and unread. You can also perform Bulk Actions on emails like Archive, Delete, Snooze, Assign, Add Topics, Move to a Folder, Mark as Unread/Read, and Spam.

Conversation
View a selected message in this section. There are many actions to perform with a message.
You can:
- Mark a message as Unread
- Archive
- Delete
- Flag
- Mark as spam
- Move to a folder
- Print or print with comments.
Just below, you can share the conversation or assign it to a team member.
Within the message, you can:
- Reply to the message
- Reply all
- Forward
- Print and print with comments.
Reply all and forward are also located at the bottom of the message.
Conversation Details
Conversation details appear when you click on the hamburger (3 horizontal lines) icon in the top right corner of a conversation. Here you’ll find:
- Who started the conversation
- Everyone participating in the conversation - the recipient of the initial email, anyone who comments, and anyone who is assigned will appear here.
- Attachments
- Topics
- History - everything that has happened within and to the conversation - replies, comments, cards, assignments.
Related - anything attached to the conversation
- Contacts
- Locations
- Cards
- Events
If a card is related to the conversation, the card will appear first. Click on the arrow in the upper left corner of the card to view the conversation details. To view the card again, click on the card under the Related Tab.
